Lima Montana : Gateway to Splendidness : Nov 2012

Lima is a tiny little speck in the vast wilderness of Montana, in the middle of nowhere near Idaho border. It was late November of 2012 and I was driving down the interstate I-15, the season was never early for snow storms in these parts, bone freezing temperatures, eerie weather conditions and I was trying to get past the storm in a hurry and in these trying moments an entrance to a ranch caught my eye. Set against the hills of Lima Peaks the gateway seemed like it was inviting you to the splendid skies of Montana and one could walk through the door, up the heights, right into the clouds to saunter among them. Well they don't call Montana "Big Sky Country" for nothing.
